Making an insider neighborhood a sought-after destination for all.
The Need
Chestnut Hill needed help becoming a destination for people in the surrounding Philadelphia area.
The Insight
Unfortunately, Chestnut Hill was seen as too much of an insider destination. We wanted to let more people in on this fantastic “secret” by making it that much more approachable.

The Solution
Grimm & Grove helped craft a decidedly non-traditional marketing strategy that included innovative partnerships and approachable, creative events that would attract media attention. The media attention helped Chestnut Hill to become the regional destination it desired: It now hosts three of Philadelphia’s biggest festival events, none more impactful than the wildly popular Harry Potter Festival.
Beyond Communications
Grimm & Grove activated its network to facilitate partnerships with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society that resulted in Chestnut Hill’s first-ever presence at the Philadelphia Flower Show.
The Result

An insider’s secret no more, Chestnut Hill has enjoyed a significant increase in visitors and more than tripled its database.
