The Science Center is also a dynamic hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology development in the Greater Philadelphia region … a fact that wasn’t clear to potential funders.

The Need
The University City Science Center needed an integrated, organization-wide fundraising plan and strategic counsel on development efforts.

We developed a comprehensive fundraising plan that included working with the Science Center to convert their “resident companies” to members and alumni by asking the question “If not for the Science Center…..” – yielding an entirely new target audience for the Science Center to work with.
Beyond Communications
Grimm & Grove leveraged its network to introduce the University City Science Center to a broad array of talent in the area, giving it the skilled personnel it needed to be successful.
The Result

The fundraising activities were a complete success, including hosting a completely sold out 50th AnniversaryCelebration. The Center grew in other ways, too, including naming a new Vice President of Development and creating an Innovators Walk of Fame.
